This season, I’m looking for books that surprise me with syntax and dialogue. I’d love to see projects reminiscent of People in Love by Claire Daverly or Once and Again by Rebecca Serle.

I’m not currently seeking high fantasy, romantasy, thrillers (unless they lean more psychological), and I’m generally not a fit for anything comparable to Colleen Hoover’s works or The Fault In Our Stars. (Meaning: if it’s super sad, no matter how well written, it’s probably not a good fit.)
